The Internet Service Providers’ Association (ISPA) currently operates two Internet exchange points, namely the Johannesburg Internet exchange (JINX) and Cape Town Internet Exchange (CINX).
Internet exchanges (INXes) provide a mechanism for ISPA’s members to interconnect their networks and exchange traffic. The exchanges encourage the local routing of Internet traffic not destined for international locations.
